We’re developing an iOS app and a Swift library for Reticulum.
iOS app
A native SwiftUI app for messaging and browsing on Reticulum, built on our Swift library.
The development build includes identity management, contacts, and LXMF conversations with delivery status and retry controls. Conversations are saved locally. It also includes a browser for Nomad Network pages.
In development. LXST support for real-time streams, including audio, is planned.
Swift library
A native Swift implementation of Reticulum for iOS and macOS. The networking stack runs without an embedded Python runtime.
ReticulumCore handles cryptographic identities, peer discovery, encrypted links, routing, and resource transfers. A separate LXMF module provides messaging. Developers can use the networking library independently of the app.
Compatibility checks use test vectors generated by the Python reference implementation and interoperability tests with live Python peers.

Reticulum is a networking stack for encrypted communication over connections including radio and IP networks.
